The National Mortgage Professional Magazine named him one of the most influential mortgage professionals to watch in 2018 and he is on the Forbes Finance Council.
Eric Troutman is one of the country’s prominent class action defense lawyers and is nationally recognized in Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) litigation and compliance. He has served as lead defense counsel in more than 100 national TCPA class actions and has litigated nearly a thousand individual TCPA cases in his role as national strategic litigation counsel for major banks and finance companies. He also helps industry participants build TCPA-compliant processes, policies and systems.
Owen has been involved in the mortgage lending industry since the early 90’s and was an early entrant into the on-line and consumer direct lending channels. There are not many people that can say they were the President of the same Mortgage Company over 20 years. Owen is always looking for new ways and new people to do the old things more efficiently and have a little fun at the same time.
Dale has trained over 1,000,000 mortgage professionals and 450 lenders, and founded Mortgage Professionals Providing Hope (mpph.org) to help orphans, the abandoned and the poor. In 1995, Dale left the corporate mortgage world to found Vermillion Consulting, Inc. (VCI). Since, VCI has provided ethical, practical and powerful training and consulting services to more than 1,000,000 mortgage professionals.
Before founding Home Captain, Grant obtained extensive experience in management, sales, marketing, e-commerce, and strategic partnerships working in multiple roles at American Express and Hersha a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust. Grant started his career serving in the US Army and worked in numerous leadership capacities achieving the rank of Major.
Alec has shown over his 15 year career in this business to be a dynamic leader within the mortgage industry. During his career he’s spent years in production as a nationally ranked, top 1% loan originator and organically created top producing branches for large, national lenders. Alec brings with him a drive and conviction that breeds success and enthusiasm in the people who work with him.

Scott Payne is the CEO & Founder of SDP Solutions, LLC, a lead management consulting firm. He started his career as a loan officer at Nationstar Mortgage where he ultimately ran a sales marketing team in charge of lead distribution and lead analytics. He worked at Velocify as a business consultant and enterprise account manager, and went on to Home Captain before founding his company.
